Ian, born in 2004, is a destitute child who was disowned and abandoned by his biological father at birth. Ian’s mother suffers from mental illness and is unable to live with her children. Ian and his five siblings now live with their grandmother who does what she can to provide and care for them. Her job opportunities are limited so it is a struggle for her to even put food at their table. The entire family lives a poverty stricken life thus affecting Ian and his siblings both physically and psychologically. Ian was out of school for 3 years due to unpaid school fees. Ian was accepted by Neema Children’s Ministries, the outreach program of Kingdom Child Project. Neema Child Project’s Child Development Program provides funding toward Ian’s education, nutritional needs and medical care.
