Odoi, born in 2009, is a destitute child who comes from a family of three children. He was abandoned by his biological parents when he was three years old. He lives with his grandmother who survives on growing food crops on a very small piece of land deep in the village of Zirobwe, Uganda. Odoi walks barefoot 10 kilometers back and forth from school. This caused his feet to be attacked by parasitic insects called jiggers. He sometimes misses school since his grandmother was unable to consistently pay his tuition fees. Since Odoi’s favorite subject is mathematics, he dreams of someday becoming an accountant.
Odoi was recently accepted into the outreach program of Neema Children’s Ministries. Because of your sponsorship through Neema Child Project, Odoi’s life has changed. He is attending school regularly and has a brighter and healthier future.DONATE NOW
